« Simplicité volontaire » est une oeuvre qui ouvre la porte à l’introspection et à la réflexion. Le refuge, l’arbre et la chaise invitent le regard à s’attarder à l’essentiel; se reconnecter avec la nature. Les carrés se déplacent avec le vent et reforment un nouveau paysage. Ils représentent la confusion, les illusions, la peur de la solitude, l’inconfort du silence et les difficultés à percevoir le véritable bonheur. L’être humain, derrière ses fenêtres, ne serait-il pas plus heureux davantage dehors?
« Simplicité volontaire »is an artwork which opens the door to introspection and reflection. The shelter, the tree and the chair invite the viewer to gaze and dwell upon the essential; being reconnected with nature. The squares move with the wind, creating a new landscape. They represent confusion, illusions, fear of loneliness, discomfort of silence and difficulties in perceiving true happiness. Would not the human behind his windows be happier outside?
